Well, this was definitely a real disappointment. Certainly was hoping from more from this record, but instead... well, misgivings were proven correct.
And on that unfortunate note, Kenny Chesney is next (because I still need more time for Avenged Sevenfold), so stay tuned!
You are probably the dumbest critic in the history of critics. First off you are unfair to him because you never liked him and that's obvious. This guy has sold the most concert tickets in all genres from 2003 to 2013 has had platinum records almost 30 number one hits. He is a no doubt hall of famer in country music. I don't even have time to correct everything wrong with your review. Start doing research instead of just rambling of nonsense.
ReplyDeleteHits =/= quality, and vomiting out sales figures are irrelevant to any critical conversation, where he's never received much acclaim over his twenty plus years in county, especially as he's only rarely written songs himself. The two times he did try for more artistic control - Be As You Are and Life on a Rock - were middling efforts at best. You're right that I've never been a fan, but he's definitely made better than this.
